UNITY Multicultural Organisation FAQs

Below are the types of questions that you might ask about UNITY. If you think that there is anything that we should cover here then let us know and we will look at including it in future web site updates.

 

 

Is UNITY a charity? - yes, we are Registered Charity number 1045494. You can see UNITY's entry for yourself in the Charity Commission register by clicking on this text.

Is UNITY just for people from ethnic minorities? - absolutely not! UNITY is here for everyone and seeks to help anyone that asks. Our aim is to help the disadvantaged, so they are our priority, but everyone is welcome.

If I make a donation will it be wasted? - every penny donated goes towards UNITY's work in the community. Whilst we can not provide precise details of names, locations etc, because of the confidential nature of our work, you can request to 'earmark' your donations if you wish for a specific purpose/area.
